Sriniketh Sundar, DO
Dr. Sundar is an anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician. He attended a combined seven year BS/DO program at the New York Institute of Technology and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating he worked as a research assistant in head and neck cancer and airway disease at SUNY Downstate University in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West hospitals. He then completed his fellowship in interventional pain management at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY.
Dr. Sundar specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple conditions such as low back, neuropathic, musculoskeletal, and joint pain. Through his training, he has gained additional experience in helping treat head and neck pain stemming from headaches and the cervical spine as well. His approach to treating pain is multi-faceted and includes interventional procedures (injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and spinal cord stimulation) combined with physical therapy, exercise programs, and medications. With this technique, Dr. Sundar hopes to improve the function and quality of life of his patients with individualized treatment plans and looks forward to providing them with more treatment options with the latest evolutions in the field of pain medicine.
