Daniel Nasr, MD

Dr. Nasr was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, after which he moved to Philadelphia to attend Jefferson Medical College (now the Sidney Kimmel Medical College). At Jefferson, Dr. Nasr earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2004. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Medical Center, Dr. Nasr completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was elected Chief Resident for the 2007-08 academic year. Dr. Nasr then completed his Fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2009. Since 2009, Dr. Nasr has practiced Pain Medicine in both academic and private practice settings in the Philadelphia area, and he finds great satisfaction improving the quality of life of his patients.

Dr. Nasr has been married to his wife, Kate, and he is a proud father of two daughters. Outside of work he remains busy running to his daughter’s soccer and basketball games and practices. His other passion is the game of golf, where he regularly tries to break the chains of amateur mediocrity.
